While the visual design of the site is sleekly compelling and presents an easy interface for users of Oakhill’s services for both property sales and rentals, this is a website where beauty goes well beyond skin deep.
As part of the development, Virtual Viewing broke new ground by designing a programme to integrate and extract data from Vebra, the UK’s No. 1 provider of Estate Agency software and property portal services: this was a “first” in the UK and significant to the distinctiveness of the website.
Virtual Viewing’s OSCAR content management system allows Oakhill to upload new properties in ‘real time’ thus guaranteeing that a customer’s property can go live the same day where details are received before 3pm.
The site also introduces another radical twist: a downloadable Desktop Application that enables users to search for properties offline - a perfect tool for business professionals on the move. Their Desktop Application automatically updates with details of new properties that match their search criteria whenever an internet connection is available – no need for repeat searches.
The website re-development also added a host of additional features:
- Comprehensive and automated integration with Vebra, Rightmove, Homelet and PrimeLocation, making all properties available online to the widest possible audience without any additional resourcing requirements for Oakhill
